Colorado 2012

This was my third year going to Colorado for work.  Instead of 4-5 days, I was there for 28 days.  I started off in Copper Mountain where the World Cup Speed Team was training, Nov. 1-18.  These days were crucial to my job.  Not only did I hand out uniforms to all of the athletes and staff, but I was able to get to know everyone on a personal and professional level.  This trip really made me understand my new job better than I ever could by just staying in the office.

After Copper Mountain, I moved over to Frisco for a few days where I stayed with Gwynn.  She was so nice to let me stay with her for free and save on my budget.

On Thanksgiving day, I drove over to Aspen for the Aspen Winternational World Cup.  This was my first time working a World Cup and it was a blast!

Even though it was a very long trip and a very long time to be away from home and my Babsy, it was a great trip.  I worked hard and I played hard!  This is the perfect job for me!

Boise for the 4th

I took all of last week off for vacation and decided to head up to Boise for a few days to hang with Dubya. He decided to save his first steps for when I got there. Isn't that sweet? And we've decided that he's already imprinted on me (just a bit of Twilight humor there). I will allow it!

Vacation Needed ASAP!

I've been going through a lot lately.  Working two full-time jobs, partying for basically two weeks straight, then going through some personal things with some guy.  I'm seriously considering going lesbian at this point.  Men are inconsiderate assholes.  Let's just put that out there.  They never seem to notice that women have feelings and only take advantage of them when there are clearly some kind of feelings going on.  Go ahead and use me for what you need then throw me in the trash when you're done.  Thanks a ton!

I need the sun, I need sand, and I need an ocean, stat!

Women's Alpine Team Manager

Today completes my first week in my new job as the U.S. Ski Team's Women's Alpine Team Manager.  Right now, I feel....overwhelmed, exhausted, incompetent, confused, and many more things.  I hate feeling this way.  I have never been thrown into a job where I don't have any kind of training or at least someone to ask questions to...or even having someone telling me what to do.  I'm kind of on my own.  I hope that by next week, or even next month, I have a better idea of what I'm doing.

The worst part is that I'm still working as the Sport Education Coordinator for at least another month, so I am wearing 2 hats.  Both of which are extremely busy positions this time of year.  I have two desk that I'm running back and forth to and keeping the two jobs separate has been tough.

On a brighter note, I have a date with my BFF Mrs. Pbants next Friday.  We are going to the Bees game.  Thirsty Thursday will become Thirsty Friday.  I am in desperate need for some baseball!  I love this time of year!!

Then that Saturday, I am returning to my college days by playing some Power Hour with Pbants and another friend.

Be prepared for some awesome pictures!

The End of a Cleanse

I have decided to end my cleanse after day 9.  I never read the book that this cleanse is from, so I feel like I'm missing something.  I've decided to take it back up over summer after I've read the book and actually know what I'm doing.

For now, I will just be going about my daily eating regimen, which consists of oatmeal in the morning, and regular delicious vegan food for lunch and dinner.

P.S. I discovered this great cookbook that I've now made 4 meals from and they have all been amazing!!  It's called Appetite for Reduction.
